Really rustic with home cooking
You always like to come back here. Super good food and a cozy atmosphere.
Quaint restaurant with a Black Forest original as host. Very well prepared home cooking. Bread, meat and sausages are fresh and tasty. Very nice beer garden with a great view .. We recommend !
The Schwarzwaldstube, in an idyllic location with a wonderful view of the Kinzig Valley, is a Vesperstube where you can get some warm dishes in addition to Black Forest specialties. The dishes are made from products from local producers. Everything is high quality. The guest room, which is reminiscent of a farmhouse parlor, is followed by a terrace with a wonderful view that invites you to stop off when the weather is nice. The staff is very friendly, the portions are plentiful and prepared with a lot of love. The performance is right, unfortunately I find the prices for the food a little too high compared to other snack bars that offer the same food in the same quality. The Schwarzwaldstube is highly recommended, as far as the price is concerned, everyone has to decide for himself.

14 days ago for 13 persons for Saturday 02.11.19 a table ordered. Wanted to eat a slab. Winfried the host did not even greet us. When ordering we were told that there are no more liver sausages. Then each of us ordered his food. At the next table came after our order still 7 firefighters who knows where from. Strangely enough, they got a complete slab with liver sausage. This is a joke to our group that comes again and again under the year. Conclusion: we do not go to the Bruddle in the Eselbach.
That was the last time we were there. Having been there for the second time with a group and not all the sausages of the slaughter plate, although they had extra reservations and prayers, they also had enough there. Apart from the fact that it is the rudest host far and wide.
We love to go there for a slab dinner. The team around Wilfried and of course Wilfried himself are absolutely top. The room itself is so quaint. Cozy ... an original ... And even in the summer months, we like to come to enjoy the view and the delicious sausage salad. Keep it up.
The "Schwarzwaldstube" in the Aichhalder Eselbach (district) has been a meeting place for tourists and locals for decades, who love a simple and good bourgeois cuisine. Location and accessibility: The economy is both by car, as well as within walking distance, if you plan a little time for the walk. The Schwarzwaldstube is almost in the same state as I was able to experience as a child for the first time. These are simple but very good and tasty dishes (sausage salad, vesperteller, etc.). The "Schwarzwaldstube" has especially made a good reputation with its "Schlachtplatte", which is available in slightly varying versions throughout the year. There is hardly a restaurant that offers a better slab of meat to its guest. If you stop in the "Schwarzwaldstube" you MUST try this one. These are available in different versions, as many can not do anything with blood and liver sausage. In addition to the offered versions, bread is usually served in the "Schwarzwaldstube". Personally I know sliced potatoes with mashed potatoes as a side dish, which unfortunately does not exist in the "Schwarzwaldstube", but - as mentioned above - bread. A "real" Swabian slab - if it even exists - includes cooked pork belly, sausages, liver sausage, black pudding and of course sauerkraut. As already written above, there are different versions in the "Schwarzwaldstube", where one can do without certain components of the court. The taste is - especially in the cold season and in the fall, when usually "normally" slaughtered - an absolute treat. But of course very fat and therefore high in calories. Conclusion: The menu is clear, as far as the amount of different food is concerned. A "icing on the cake" is the Vesperkarte with typical Black Forest specialties. The side with the "slaughter plates", however, is contained in almost every version. Anyone who wants chips, on the other hand, has to be lucky, because they do not always exist, but usually when a larger society feeds them. You should give comfort at the door, also, you should bring, time, as it can lead to delays. The staff is usually friendly and attentive.
We could come here every day?
We arrived there with 10 persons (motorcycle group). Although we were out of hours, we were very friendly hosted. The Schwarzwaldstube is a nice place, in a traditional atmosphere and therefore really nice. The service very nice. I can only talk about drinks, as it was a short stop for us, the cocoa was very delicious. If you want to enjoy a quiet, rural location, is very upscale. I hope the place and the environment stay that way !!
Best sauerkraut ever ?. Liverwurst, bratwurst and kettle meat all year round. But a sausage salad on warm summer days on the terrace with a beautiful view is also very tasty. The Eselbach just wouldn't be what it is without the rustic landlord. Always worth a visit ?
